HOW AUTO ARMOR SHOULD BE !

i guess all you true crysis gamers noticed how annoying auto armor , well i think i have an idea of how to nerf it . Why dont crytek make auto armor only useful when being constantly fired upon with an assault rife or any automatic weapon . This will allow the bow and the feline to be more effective and force those newbs to start playing crysis as it should be .If you like this suggestion please like so that crytek would take this into consideration.

It's here to stay unfortunately.

Personally I don't use it. I actually find it confusing as my first instinct when taking damage is to hit the armour button, which (when AA is enable) actually removes my armour and causes me problems.

It's a shame that it preemptively stops damage. It would be better if it had an activation delay of something like 0.1 or 0.2 seconds. In that situation I could totally support it because it would potentially be inferior to activating the armour yourself.

This seems like a decent idea! Still the forums might become flooded with complaint of OHK weapons that wouldn't be if AA was instantaneous.. I wonder if Crytek will take the easy way out

0.2 seconds ? That is way beyond anything a good player can achieve. Average human response time is 350 ms or 0.35s add ping and other delays to that and you get than amour activation time is unlikely to be less than 0.45 - 0.5 second.

Am I the only person who thinks Auto-Armor is completely useless? 90% it gets me killed cause I can't run away fast enough.

Whether you think its useless or not is anecdotal. Auto-armor is one of the best abilities in the game. I'd rate AA/Manuverability/Rapid Fire the 3 best abilities.

For what the module does he is right, it's one of the most game changing and beneficial module to equip, like the other two he mentioned

Look at my profile and how much I've used stealth/armor and factor that into my KDR and tell me I'm a noob. I've been using auto-armor for 3 days of playing in-game now to prove that its broken.

My KDR in armor is about 8.8.

Its like 2.8 in stealth only.

Auto-armor IS broken and it is noobish, and that's my exact point by using it.

AA is for people who dont have the skill to push one single button to turn on armour them selves which is a complete waste of a module slot .
