For serious discussion of firearms collecting, history and/or design. I appreciate in advance everyone's efforts to keep this discusison responsible and on topic.

I think for starters, maybe a short blurb on your own history with firearms and then maybe listing what you have or have had the chance to shoot

Myself, I spent 6 years in the USMC. Shot just about everything in the arsenal short of a main tank gun. Hunted when I was younger and now I'm into the history and collecting of WWI-WWII military rifles (with my brother. We mostly share our collection) Currently have:

The only firearm I own is a Walther PPK/S. I bought it when I worked night shift and my wife was home alone all night. I would love to own a WWII 1911. One that has actually seen combat. That is my one wish when it comes to firearms.

I am not old enough to start purchasing weapons myself(16, turning 17 soon). But the moment I hit 18 I am gonna start collecting and arming up. I really want to get a few muzzle loaders, and AR-15, and definitely some lever actions. I really enjoy shooting for fun(targets), my dad just bought an SKS. That thing is pretty badass haha! I also got the lucky chance to shoot my dad's friend's Mosin-Nagant. I fell in love with it, and I want my own. They are so nice. Can't wait til I can start collecting!!!!

I love guns. I'm such a nut for 'em. Luckily, I turn 18 in just under a week. That means I can at least buy a rifle or a shotgun, but I probably won't (yet) because there aren't any places to shoot them around here. When I turn 21, I'll most definitely get a pistol of some sort, and likely a concealed carry license.

Gun topics, particularly on collecting and shooting them, are not encouraged here. If you want to discuss them as they are used in the games then use the appropriate forum please.
