"Very High" texture resolution resets back to "High"

Problem:

When I go to graphics settings and try changing texture resolution to "very high", game prompts me to restart, so I do, but after relaunch the setting has reset itself back to "high". I have all other settings on very high, and no problem with them.

Now, if I go to console and type in "sys" + tab, it shows me that textures are set to 4, along with others. Can someone confirm if this is just a bug in the menu and textures are in effect on very high, albeit it read "high".

I read from somewhere that this could be caused by having a non-english windows version, where ie. C:\users\username\ has some strange alphabet like C:\users\k?ytt?j?\ which would then cause R/W error to the Crysis 3 setting files therein.

My GPU is Nvidia GTX590 with latest Crysis 3 optimized drivers, so vram shouldn't be an issue. I also have Windows 8 64-bit Finnish version, where my C:\users\(username) has ?'s in it.

Any solution? Are you guys at Crytek aware of this?

I have exactly the same problem. I am from germany and I have an "?" in my username too. But I doubt that this is the fault, why then should all the other settings stick to "Very high"? Only texture resolution resets on every game restart.

Any comment from crytek would be highly appreciated.
