ERMERGERD I H8 NANOVISION

I want to start out by saying that cloak is not overpowered! Though it is very literally impossible to see in some lighting. I've had many *facepalm* moments when I just stood looking at a guy in cloak from across a room for several seconds before being killed.

Thought I don't know the resolution of my TV, I can tell you that it is very old and I can see individual pixels from 1.5 to 2 feet away. Additionally, at a little over 2 feet in depth its not exactly a flatscreen. I've found that in MY PARTICULAR SITUATION it is impossible to see cloaked people at mid range.

There are some very good balances to cloak so that its not abused:
.tracking footsteps
.shooting while in cloak drains your energy
.its usability is limited during sprint
.you don't sprint as fast
.emp grenades
.nano vision

Oh wait... forget that last one cos it svckS! Nano vision is essential to balance in crysis 3, however it is so slow to active (it should be a press not a hold), and its range of effectiveness against cloaked players is so limited that I've found it more of a hastle to use than a tool. Its slowness makes it impractical for close-range use with a shot gun or SMG, and its pitiful range makes it pointless for long-range use. At mid range cloaked players can't be spotted quickly enough.

So whats my conclusion? Nano vision is useless or underpowered at any range and any play-style.

BTW, I hope to be getting a, partially broken, HD TV in about a month! I will see then if things get better :)

I doupt that better TV would fix nanovision. I have never seen cloaked people while using Nanovision. :(

It would be nice if it was buffed. It's only useful for finding bush wookies right now.

Do you think it might help when spotting cloaked people in general? Not just when using nano vision.

It could help a little bit in some maps but I doupt that there would be very noticeable difference unless it has better color settings (Shows colours correctly instead of being brighter/darker etc).
