Unbalanced teams FIX IT

Post » Sun Mar 03, 2013 9:06 am

So since I couldn't find anything about it yet I just make this topic here.

As most of you probably have already noticed teams in Crysis 3 are usually super unbalanced.
Apparently players that wear the same tag and/or are friends will get into the same team meaning if you join on a server with some buds and all of you are decent players you will get into the same team and the other will consist of random guys and newbies.
This is one super annoying thing since people don't want to play against ubersquads that are not even supposed to be a squad and good players want to play against other good players and not just raqe newbies (thinking of fairplay).
If people want to play in a squad together they should use the squad function which works just fine. Having this sort of teammaking breaks the game for me. I rather have random teams without having to change my clantag everytime I play with my clan.

Please fix that Crytek. It was a bad idea.

Same issue was present in C2, a clan full of pros would team up in a squad, and just own the server. And even if you were a good player you could not compete because this guys would play as a team rather than a bunch of individuals. I don't thing things will change.

Personally I have been joining most games to not get any squads going. Join game but not squad when my mates are there does balance for the most part.

You can usually tell immediately when that's happening. Since i'm solo I always prefer randomization of the good players. My best times are when ok one round you get the fight against a few good players, but next match it's mixed up and the balance shifts back and forth. That's fun, but solo team raping is annoying. This isn't a new thing though, it happens in all games. I just join another server if it's too annoying.

But you wouldn't join automaticly a aquad when you have the same clan tag in Crysis 2.

It wasn't the same in C2. The teams were "more" random than in C3. You didn't get in the same team with your mates just because they're in your friendlist. If I ever wanted to play in a squad I joined one.

There should be solo quickmatch and squad vs squad quickmatch options, with the ability to control for ping.

Rather than have a bunch of stupid fawking gamemodes that no one plays, CryTek needs to make a "mercenary" playlist that doesn't allow squads to join. They are a stupid company, so such a basic concept eludes them. Please forgive and enjoy that playlist without the nano-suit abilities?!!?! What's the name of it again?

The point is not if squads can play on a server or not. The thing is that your team will take the role of a squad since it automatically throws you into a team with anyone in your friendlist or the same clantag.
