Comical Imperial Names Thread

Post » Sun Mar 03, 2013 5:04 pm

Not sure if a thread like this has ever been established at any point, and in any of the possible forum locales - I didn't use the search function. All apologies. But the idea came to me while enjoying myself in http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1447239-need-a-brilliant-name-for-an-imperial/. Anyways, I could probably come up with quite the list if I took the next 30 minutes to brainstorm, but I'll refrain from doing so because I'd prefer to allow others the chance to contribute before compiling a huge list everyone has to scroll thru to read anyone else's (no disrespect or slight intended).

A couple examples to kick things off -

-Gludius Flatulits
-Penitis Impotis

Anyway, like i stated, I wont post a huge list to start. But I do urge people to contribute for the sake of laughter and I hope everyone enjoys it as much as i have thus far.

Edit and Clarification: This can include game originals and self-conceived.

Well, the first two that come to my mind are Oblivion's Raminus Polus. And, of course, the all-time classic amusing Imperial-esque name: Monty Python's Biggus dikeus.

One of the mages from the Arcane University in ES:IV was named Raminus Polus.

Miles Gloriosus.

Look it up if you don't know why it's funny.

(HINT: It's not because of the way it sounds)
