The theme of the Dragonborn DLC seems to be of the pitfalls of hubris, with Miraak being the crowning example.

Other examples:

Storn swallowing his pride and surrendering the secrets to Hermy so Hermy would help PlayerBorn end Miraak

Hermy putting on a show about how he is a master of fate and all that, yet he lost control of Miraak

Bujold and her issues with Hrothmund the Red

Riekling Chieftan getting uppity over your meteoric rise in popularity with his subjects

Master Neloth and how his reckless study comes back to bite him in the butt

i wish they made mirrak more interesting, the guy have an amazing voice and quite polite (although arrogant). the thing is i am the same opinion with neloth on mirrak, he is a nusiance. i mean the guy knows he couldnt do anything at the end, but at least he tries i suppose.......... all he did was to make my playerborn forcefully serve under that mora
