No Havoc with the Havoc Button

I've been doing http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6RzxXWiqb8M vid. The problem I'm having is that, even though I've got the object highlighted it just wont give me a simulated demonstration of the movement of the object in question, because as soon as I press the Havoc Button it disengages the render window.
