mcm menu help : V

there is a version 5?
how do you get that?
cuz I only have v 1

& I have skyui at 3.1

MCM is included in SkyUI 3.1. The only 5 I'm aware of with MCM is that MCM for Fallout New Vegas is currently at v.1.5 (won't work with Skyrim). There is a video over at YouTube on how to make MCM work without SkyUI, though (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aqh5anwuptk). Perhaps that was what you were thinking of?

yes I have 3.1 skyui
but apparently I need a version 5 of mcm
& when I go into the menu its says mcm version 1

If you mean this entry :

If MCM menu not shows up: your SKSE and skyUI need to be updated. This mod use MCM v. of Feb 2013

the v is short for version, not five.

Check the version of SKSE you're running.
