Finally got the vampire achievement today. I was cruising around the plains between Whiterun and Rorikstead killing everything I came across (except rabits and foxes). But it still wasn't enough. Finally, my patience ran out, I broke down, made a save spot, went to Whiterun and slaughtered the entire town. That was just barely enough. I was considering making Riften my next stop if that wasn't enough.

For the Werewolf achievement I did it straight. No save point, no reckless slaughter, just charging around the Pale killing bandits. Having the ring of Hircine helped.

So who all has slaughtered entire towns to get this achievement?
