I'm having endless trouble making a tabard that shows up over armor. The only clothing that covers armor is a robe, and that automatically makes every body part disappear except head, hands, and feet. I tried making it a pauldron, and assigning it to the upper arm, but that made the chest armor show up and clip through it. So, I changed the tabard back into a chest body part, left it as a pauldron, but now the armor overrides it and it doesn't show up at all. Also, I am making sure the mesh is assigned to the correct body part. When I take off armor that's conflicting with the tabard, it shows up on the npc just fine.

Is there any way I can make this work?
