I've seen that a lot of people are having issues to run the game on DX10 GPU. So, i've decided to share with you two websites that i've found and claim that by using their patch you can play Crysis 3 :

And what is the likelyhood that this is a virus? Even if it does what it claims to do, it could also install a rootkit/virus for all we know.

Well, i've tested the second website with my GTX680 (DX11), and i have around 75-80FPS in Ultra wich is amazing (i had before around 40-55FPS). The first one, i'll test it as soon as i'll find my GTX295 . If you don't trust me, i'll make a video showing you how to install it

Well, it is possible. I mean, if Origin is reporting the system specs of your PC to a central server, who sees you playing the game despite having a DX10 card, it could turn out to be bad. But to fix this you can just spoof your card and hope for the best.

That doesn't sound like it modified the game files, sounds more like memory patching. Which reminds me, a user got banned just for using the MaldoHD 4.0 mod.

Personally, I'd use this DX10 hack to increase my FPS.

The website is wrong about Warhead, Crysis did have DX10 features and an OS update was required to use DX10, that was due to the new driver model in Windows Vista.

Also, SSDO is DX11 only, SSAO is not directX specific. The DX10 does nothing but override DX11, so it's just making the use high instead of very high because that when tessellation features and SSDO kick in.

It's worth stating that Vista was better for gaming since it had a better driver model, hense less pain for developers.

The first website is a friend of mine who send it to me, whereas the second one, it's a know french website, and i've tried this tweak. it's legit ! It's like Planetside 2 when you install the Graphic patch to have more frames ... It tweaks the settings so you have a good visual experiance with good performances.
