I've been searching the forums up and down, but I haven't found anything related to this.


I'm really bothered by how fast the crossbow reloads in Skyrim, and it's what people call an immersion breaker for me. AFAIK, the reloading of a crossbow is a slow and heavy process, not something done with a wave of the hand.

In my opinion, the crossbows would fit a niche good as a slow, but really powerful weapon. It could take down most enemies in 1-3 hits, but should also take from 5-15 seconds to reload in-game. I've tried to do this myself in the Creation Kit, but it seems I lack the know-how.

Do any of you know of mods that do something like what I suggest?
