So I have this weird issue that started a couple weeks ago. I normally use Game Booster, but out of nowhere Skyrim wouldn't play while it was active (previously worked fine). So I figured that a Steam update must have changed something, so I will manually disable a few services, still no go. BTW, when I mean it won't play when I launch the game (either through SKSE or the regular launcher) the screen flashes for a second, then right back to desktop, I never even get to the Bethesda logo. If I restart the computer and don't change anything it will play. Well it turns out I can't even shut down my email or service or adjust the fan speed on my graphics card!! Doing either of those causes Skyrim not to launch! I find this very odd. It's not keeping me from playing, because like I said if I don't touch anything I can play, but I just find it really weird and would like to figure out what's going on.
Has anyone had any similar experiences?
