The dawnguard side quest , it has its own achievement/trophy

So I read the book 3 times and the mission never started
Went to the place anyway and met the ghost girl
There was no journal on her body like there's suppose to
I finished the mission and collected the 4 things you needed by using a guide, she never appeared in the places she should have
I go to the forge and kill the bandits , she doesn't show up and I can't start the mechanism


I looked online and many people have the same problem as me

Is this fixed but not specifically mentioned , or not fixed?

Any fix for this , It's probably the only mission I haven't finished besides a few small quests.

You would have to uninstall DG.

Actually try this, straight from uesp:

"If the quest not starting, drop the "The Atherium Wars" and drop the glowing crystal shard if you've already obtained one, pick book back up and read, quest should start then pick up shard."

Yeah, I had this. I had to start another character for it to work. Isn't fixed.
