The difference between the PC forum and Console forum

Post » Tue Mar 05, 2013 5:31 pm

I just find it... unsettling? Let's use that word, that the PC players are mostly complaining about the visuals while the console players mostly complaining about the actual gameplay.

This isn't a thread dissing any sort of player but if the community actually started helping one another then maybe we'd be getting somewhere in terms of communication and improvements. For example, the PC is Crytek's core audience and I can't help but think that if they input more about balances rather than how the game looks for them then the game might be better.

I can say however that console players aren't really complaining about visuals which is a step up from Crysis 2.

What do you all think?

Well different priorities. People on PC pay a lot more for systems to display said visuals so there's more 'attention' to it as much as the gameplay, where console players are in it for the gameplay and accept the visuals as they are. I don't see it as any more complicated than that.

They know gameplay is the usual stuff,so since only graphics is the selling point, they better run and look great

We PC players hate both the graphics and the gameplay. We were really expecting something more than Quake 3 Arena. Even C2 MP had a little more originality in the maps than this crap.

Dude you're all over this forum complaining about the game, and you haven't even purchased it. Just go away.

Well, minus you and Zito. In other words 99.999% of all C1 vets.

Well, lets see. 200 posts of me complaining about how they have ruined the game.

800 posts of you kissing their ass.

If you love this game so much, why aren't you off playing?

Please don't delude yourself and pretend that you speak for all PC players.

I love this game; first game to top Crysis for best graphics available (seriously how can anyone outside of maybe the ropes issue complain about the graphics?), and the gameplay is sooooooooooooooo much better than Crysis 2's.

Definitely my favorite shooter that I've played in a good while.

Only if you were looking for a sequel to Quake 3.
