Ok, I haven't played yet the Dragonborn DLC and I don't know if it brings new mage and necromancer's stuff, but I think sincerely that casters would deserve a better looking equipment with better stats than the Archmage poncho plus the Dragon priest masks.

The more of any options the better. But, yes, particularly casting apparel.

Agreed. The game needs a better variety of mage gear, most notably unenchanted gear. I think there's only 3 or 4 unenchanted robes in the game, the majority of which take up two slots, limiting your total enchantments. And correct if I'm wrong but there is one single unenchanted hood in the game. Kind of disappointing.
