Is there a certain playstyle you have trouble getting into?

For me, I have alot of difficulty using magic.
I don't know why, it doesn't seem to interest me at all. I guess I'm more of a person who prefers axes, greatswords, bows etc. Mages never really interested me, I like roleplaying warriors, barbarians and hunters much more for some reason, I usually skip enchanting aswell because it is related to magic.

The only exception where I like using magic is an arcane archer or a shaman.

Any kind of playstyle you usually don't like to use?

Edit: A good example would be Valdis, a Nord character of me. Her appearance is very Gothic related. Black hair, pale skin, black eyeshadow and lips. With such an appearance you'd think that person is somebody mystical like a mage, right? Nope, she's a barbarian armed with bulky armor and a greatsword. Fighting her is like the ''Wall Of Death'' in a Metal festival. Sure, she wears fancy black vampire armor in the cities. But that's just her clothing if not in battle.

Pure warriors. They bore me to death. I prefer warrior/mage and thief/mage hybrids.

Evil play styles. Assassins, evil Mages, etc. I don't know why. I just think it's weird for an evil person to go about Skyrim having the same conversations as any good Character. There are too few dialogue options that make them more distinguishable. And I get bored if a character doesn't interact with NPCs on a regular basis.

Pure melee is boring, and pure magic means I die too often :P

Unfortunately, that's a problem with the game design.
Being evil has no real consequence on the world. :(

Pure warrior. I like to sneak or throw spells (or both).

I usually enjoy pure melee, spilling so much blood with my blade. :D And a whole group around me where I got to defend myself.
That's my kind of thing.

I'd love to play a spellsword, but I can't because I find Destruction to be extremely lame without the use of Alchemy.

One more for pure melee fighters. Not only is the playstyle boring as hell for me, I find that I level up too quickly since some skills don't work well with each other compared to the mage and thief skills. I'm stuck using a smaller set than the other two.

Like, I feel it's pointless to level one-handed and two-handed at the same time. Two-handed and block don't work well together most of the time since the block perks benefit shields better than the weapon itself. Y'know, that sort of thing.

Evil player character - have done one to get the achievements but don't really enjoy the play-style.

Mage player character - try as I might, I just can't get the hang of it in TES V. I loved playing a mage in TES IV.

I guess we disagree there, that's alright.
Blocking and 2-handed works great IMO. Not as great as a shield but perfectly viable.

Mage. I just dislike grinding the skills. Especially since you can't just stand there and cast certain spells, for example with healing you actually have to go out and get yourself injured for the skill level to actually increase while casting it. It's just so tedious and time consuming. At least with the warrior and thief skills, they level up as you're doing stuff that you normally would.

I don't like playing evil characters either, if I am planning to make a Vampire (Thinking about a Vampiric Dunmer Arcane Archer, who joins the Stormcloaks. :D) then that vampire is without a doubt chaotic good.

Milk drinking style :P

I'd have to say that sword and board is the least fav basic style for me as I'd much rather bumrush with my battleaxe then always cower on the defensive with a shield. I'm also not a fan of always sneaking around as a thief, picking pockets...it's more fun to cut them down and take their stuff by force

Hah, looks like we got something in common there. Though I guess I like playing thieves sometimes. I do use block but mainly because the quick reflexes look pretty sweet.

Gah! Just when I edited my post. Yeah, I meant that since some perks benefit shields more than they do a weapon, I tend to avoid the block tree altogether. I tend to balance offense and defense, so block and two-handed aren't my cup of tea.

Pure mage, I have never been able to get into playing mages in any RPG i have ever played. I guess offensive magic just isn't my style.

2 handed Warriors, I feel awkward swinging those slow Skyrim 2 handers.
