seriously bethesda... how did you manage to screw this up?

Resetting points has to be by far the stupidest possible way to handle this idea.

Seriously who came up with the idea of nerfing your character while all the enemies are still high level.

Here is the CORRECT WAY this could have been done.

Choose to go legendary after hitting 100 in a skill.

Skill starts counting up from 100 to 200. Then activate legendary again and start counting from 200 to 300. Etc, etc, etc.

Each level gives you perk points and points for mana/stamina/strength but doesn't increase the damage or reduce mana cost or anything like that of the skills.

There you go exact same effect that is currently implemented with the legendary system except without screwing over the players by nerfing their characters.

Seriously Bethesda please alter the legendary system to this method rather than implementing one of the worst ideas in the history of games.

Edit: but it makes sense to make the players work more for it. I'm not sure what exactly you are saying. Are you saying we should get the perks back anyways? Because that's where the nerfing comes from in the first place.

Because they can so edit the patch to do a totally different system.

They havent had meetings and talk about this nor decided this seriously and nearly have it in place.

They should so listen to this and change it right now.

It's hard trying to predict how the world will react to a character with 9000 Sneak skill... Would the game crash? Would NPCs unable to interact with you ever again? Would your character turn into a black hole and svck light in?

It would be impossible to scale the world with your character. So... not a good idea, looking in a developer's perspective
