Hi,

Suddenly i noticed white lights coming from a characters eyes.
The first dragon this characters killed after i noticed this phenomenon, stays a normal dead dragon with scales and all: No Soul absorbing.
Could this be realated?

Draugr eyes can be removed by doing the following:

With the souls issue, is the dragon one that's respawned? For example, dragons that sit on world walls will respawn, but if you've killed it once then you won't get another soul for killing it when it respawns.

Indeed, the dragon respawned. Thank you very much for this valuable reply..
I found that the previous dragon killed, a few saves ago, did loose its soul, but the eyes were already there.
I did not know or recall to have had it before..... get no soul from a killed dragon.
How can they respawn, if they lost their soul?

I know, it's stupid. It's a bug in the game which they've yet to fix.

However, the Unofficial Skyrim Patch fixes this issue and a host of others. Being on the PC I'd highly recommend you get it and the ones for any DLC you may have

Do you have Dragonborn too? If so, do you also have the Unofficial Dragonborn Patch?

No, my lack of money of late did not yet permit me to buy new content.... :-p
I fix this by playing at least 7 different characters.. ) ..... and using a lot of mods ofcourse... (looked at ur page btw..]
