Whilst I absolutely adore stealth games in general (such as Hitman, Deus Ex and Dishonored), I absolutely detest it when it comes to Skyrim and many RPG games. It is, perhaps, because stealth in RPG games is often considerably slower-paced than that of stealth games like Dishonored and Hitman, where you are constantly weaving in and out of cover. Regardless, for some reason or another and despite how popular the play-style is, I cannot stand stealth characters in this game especially. When I play an RPG, such as Dragon Age II or Kingdoms of Amalur, I love playing as a rogue character. I do so not in the sense of using stealth, but instead in the sense of preferring speed over power in combat. My characters prefer hitting an enemy as many times as possible in a short amount of time, rather than actually hitting them hard with large amounts of damage. Daggers, except for games such as Kingdoms of Amalur which have non-real weapons (like Faeblades), are thus the weapon of choice for these characters because of their swiftness. My problem is that I have attempted previously to transfer this style over to Skyrim, but with little success. Does anyone here understand what I mean and has anyone achieved such a build?
