SP way more demanding than MP? : Crysis

In SP i get about 35-60fps with high settings @ 1080p with fxaa...
In MP i get 60-75fps with high with object VH and texture resolution VH... and x2 smaa...

its literally like playing another game...
my specs:
660ti OC edition WF
i5 3570k
8GB 1600 RAM
win7

Well SP *is* designed to be pretty and shiny, more so than MP
