Mods listed with a - next tot hem I just got the newest updates for. I am currently downloading the files needed for MMM version 3.7 beta 3, and the newest Unique Landscape Compilation.
What I am going to do is uninstall the game and my whole directory and reinstall each mod using OBMM. Will take quite some time to do but will make sure I don't have extranuous and I can better keep track of what needs overwritten.

Which brings me to the next question: since I am using OBMM, BOSS, and Wrye Bash should I be worried about what order I install my mods in? I know Unofficial Patches, MMM, and Fran's should be first. Any other input?

So what mods do you guys recognize that should be updated or, in cases where other mods do their job better, be replaced in my list.

Thanks.

BOSS has (obviously) been updated a lot since you last checked in and OBSE's got a new beta out.

Enhanced Weather has 1.4 RC1 out. I don't know where you got that file from though, I upload .7z, not .rar. Unless you made it yourself, of course.

Don't use AWLS(aC) and Illumination Within at the same time, pick one (AWLSaC).

Since you've already got all the mods in archives, I'd recommend giving BAIN a go installing stuff rather than OBMM. Much better IMHO, now I only use OBMM for DarN UI (I never got round to converting it, and never had to reinstall it).

I'll let others more up to date on stuff advise you on the rest.

I got rid of Illuminated Within when i adopted AWLS. I did repack Enhanced Weather as I merged the patch into the one archive. I will look intot hat one. Doesn't Bash only work for installer if there is a special script in the mod?

No, Bash doesn't even support scripts (ATM, it will pretty soon, or so I have heard). It's all to do with directory structures within the archives. You can check it out, and the readme section on it, to get a better idea of what it's about.

You could consider replacing the following mods:

Borderless Map Icons v1.0.zip
Landmarks with Wells v1.1.zip
No POI Compass v1.1.zip
Perfect Working No Quest Markers v1.0.rar

with my http://www.gamesas.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=1042960 which does all of this and a lot more, fully configurable.

I followed this post to success after having 4 buggy modded installs w/ CTD. Now, I haven't had one CTD and I'm running QTP3, all UL, All texture Rep's, tons of village/house mods, FCOM +++ and runs smooth as butter.. well CTD wise.

Post is here, it served me well: http://www.gamesas.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=1004123&st=40

I wouldn't go by the original poster tbh, but by what Shikishima says.

"1. A clean install of Oblivion and Shivering Isles patched to the latest version.
2. Install the Unofficial Patches.
3. Download and install the basic FCOM components, adding MMM last to ensure the newer texture replacements are used.
4. coc to the testinghall for a look around to find any obvious errors.
5. Test this install by running through Vilverin using Godmode. You'll encounter all of the basic features that FCOM has to offer in the way of new items, enemies and many of the new weapons. This will verify you have the correct resource files in place.
6. Add in the expanded load order if desired and repeat Vilverin.
7. Add DLC's and any required patches, plus texture, body and LOD mods - not at this time the Unique Landscape Series.
8. Add any city enhancement mods - Open Cites etc.
9. A quick run around the various cities using coc when necessary. This will highlight any erroneous textures or flawed landscape.
10. Basic game alterations like COBL/ leveling/ magic/stealth overhaul mods are added, using the console to increase levels and skills where needed to test some of the new additions.
11. Addition of weapon/armour mods
12. Quest mods plus needed patches.
13. Unique Landscape mods plus patches.
14. Build and add the bashed patch, allowing respawn to take effect.
15. Play for a couple of hours ensuring to visit dungeons and caves of all types you'll encounter during the game itself. This includes various alyied ruins/caves/forts that are known to be frequented by different factions."

Invaluable thread imo. It'll get you a golden Modblivion install, CTD-free if your careful. And you are definitely on the right track creating OMOD's for everything, it makes things a whole lot easier, not to mention the ease of management. Good luck!
