What pisses me off is we cannot buy it on Steam.

I own the entire Crysis series on Steam, I don't want to have to buy Crysis on Origin because then suddenly I have to use two platforms to play my games on. I've not bought a game that requires Origin and I'll never invest in it, EA have a track record of shutting down their online services out of the blue and screwing over their customers, I'm never going to support them. I don't know a single person who buys their games on Origin, the only thing it is ever used for is to annoyingly launch Battlefield 3, which in my eyes completely voids the whole point of having Battlelog.

Not only that but Origin's prices are stupid, I'm not going to pay £40-54 quid for a game where I'm only interested in the campaign which is said to be like 5 hours long. So you have to then go elsewhere to buy it like cdkeyhouse where it's £26 but again I'm not going to support a platform where you cannot actually buy the game because it's twice as high as anywhere else.

Put it on Steam and please ditch EA as a publisher, I never thought I'd say this but sign a deal with Activision, they make sure their games are on sale everywhere. Steam adds value to my games, I know I can trust Valve and it has a **** load of features that makes purchasing a game over torrenting it worth while.

Crysis 3 has full integration of accounts, CD Keys, anti-cheat and updates all through origin, plus you login to MP with an origin account. So I don't see this happening anytime soon.

I remember when people had the same issues with Steam when it launched, why are people so afraid of change when it comes to the PC platform? The fact that you suggest torrenting it is even a viable option shows you have no respect for the developers who put years of work into their games. Origin is nothing more than Steam with a different skin and different company running it. Origin is actually good for the consumer no matter what people want to think, a monopoly is always bad for the consumer, even if it is a service like Steam.

EA goes to some pretty extreme lengths (Battlelog) to attempt to prevent piracy because of people like you, who will always find something to complain about and try to justify stealing the game. In the end the honest consumers like me pay for people like you. The only time torrenting a game should be advocated is if you want to make sure it will run well on your system, or use it as a demo of sorts if there is a lack of one, otherwise you're just a thief.

As much as i dont like Origin it gives Crytek full control of their game and link accounts with anti cheat and everything. The only way to do that on Steam is with VAC i think. And i dont see EA using that for their own games
