dear skyrim crew,

i am from germany and i would like to present an idea of mine.
i know many people trough forums or friends of mine, which would like to see something like the skyrim directors cut pack on the ps3 and the x-box. i cannot post a link so just use google for "skyrim directors cut scharesoft" and you will see what im talking about we know its hard to develope this but i know that many people would like to see bethesda, is carrying about us german guys, but we really need something like this on the consoles beacuse these little things making the game so lovely and we couldnt use this on the consoles without youre help! if bethesda is doing that as a patch or a dlc... yes we would pay for this because that would make the game more than awesome!!!

From what I gather, this Director's Cut thing is a mod that improves the German version of Skyrim for one way or another.

So no, there is no way Bethesda would release a mod as official content. Too much dirt involved. They have never done it and no reason to start now.

Ms and Sony are the ones who won't allow mods of this sort of scale on consoles at this time. Better off directing this at them.

Until they allow it mods are strictly PC only for Beth's games.

I demand Beth immediately makes the game like I want, and only for Finnish users. Take that!

In serious, there is just no hope Beth will do anything like what you're asking for. No reason to get hopes up. Bethesda only ever adds new stuff to their games - they don't fix anything, since that would be admitting that they were wrong in the first place. That's not how they roll.

Why would they only do the German version? And then charge for something PC players have for free?

In any case, it's still very, very, very unlikely. Especially as a lot of the features are hi-res textures and meshes, stuff that would just render the console frame rates in the single digits.

Most of the time the actual translation isn't done internally. Stuff like locations and names can get lost in translation if the translators don't actually know the context properly.

And while the game uses string files to try to make it more multi-lingual, stuff like textures tend to only be created once and not translated. It'd just take too much time.

i just know about the german version, and if you would use this, you would undestand me! if bethesda just did the english version well, they should do this for every aviable language, but in german this game is especially worse in some parts, so if this is in finnland too they have to do this for finnland and other countries too but they should do this and make the gamepersonal for everybody and every country.. i like english as a language but if i buy the german version i just want a german version with german signs and all the other stuff
