Is it just me, or are there many cheaters out there?

I dunno, just feels like there's at least one cheater every match I join. They usually jump around a lot and get fluke shot kills all the time

Jump around in what fashion? Teleport jumps or regular gameplay Power Jumps? Also, what's a fluke shot?

What you're describing sounds like lag to me. Have you tried playing in servers in your region?

I don't think we've had any of those obvious hackers we saw in the beta and we're running 10 servers. Banned a couple of ass holes is about it.

Unfortunately the youth of today expect instant results and instant "experience" as opposed to playing and working on their skills. They also are way over showered with praise for minimal efforts and sub-par performance, so this translates to the need to hack and cheat to remain "awesome" as they are in their own minds. Society is the problem as a whole due to the whole “encouragement” thing that drives the unrealistic expectations and unwarranted accolades. So these kids think that cheating is necessary to keep up that level of expectation they have within their own minds and those of their counterparts.

Personally I have an extreme hate for cheaters and thief’s that steal code and cheat while blatantly lying about it. Unfortunately it has become a part of online play that is to be expected because of the lack of morals and conscious these idiots have or do not have. You are coming from a perspective that all should be fair, that our earned skills should rank us in the place where we fit, but that unfortunately is not true and will never be until the hackers quit putting out cheats and code generators. Its because of them game companies are heading towards consoles, they just find its easier to build for consoles than keep battling the piracy issue, so these cheaters are screwing us in multiple ways, just not in game in a specific match. These idiots are so blind to see they are the downfall for a great innovative industry that could be pushing us along in a positive way, but for some it’s a momentary gain and they don’t care about the long term repercussions. The older we get the more we realize what they mean when they said a butterflies wings on one side of the world can create a Tsunami on the other – something these idiot hackers and cheaters cannot wrap their tiny little minds around because all they can see is the instant gratification today, not the long term effects of their actions.

OK, I’ll step off the soap box and go back to campaign where it’s me against the AI, I know they aren’t cheating at least……………..

I think a lot of it has to do with people joining servers outside their country creating lag, as well as kill cams not being programmed optimally.

Profound, but accurate, I cant remark om MP cheaters yet as release date hasnt happened for me..

Cheaters will pretty much always beat most games security, and theres nothing more satisfying than than silent killing one of the MOFO's ;)

I am not sure if there are many hackers or just many extremely good players out there. I consider myself a pretty good shot myself but my kdr in this game is probably 1.2 or 1.3 due to the small maps and the pace of the game, its only natural i die as fast as i kill.

But ive encountered some crazy players who manages to get 45 kills with 2 deaths in an entire round ...... Ive met players like this now 3 times in a row online. They are way beyond the rest of the players. I can only hope CryTek is following closely on what players are doing and taking actions fast. Multiplayer here is alot of fun.

Is it? Hmm, I have always loved Crysis for its campaigns. I normally never do MP unless its the latest COD release, now those I am addicted to the hardcoe Team Deathmatches - does Crysis have something similar? (sorry, not trying to derail from the OP, just curious)

That score is pretty simple for peeps like WarSpirit (you tube him) and well as many vets on these forums. I'm not trying to single out WS folks nor insult the rest of you lot;)
