I'm having heavy fps drops with my gtx 680 and I'm running it only on medium. I have an i7 core so thats not the issue.. Solutions anyone ?

Could you run a program while playing that checks your GPU usage? Lots of people with the 6xx cards get sudden usage drops --> fps drops

same here... in the first mission the game starts running at 30 fps when i look in the "main area of the map" ang gets up to 60 fps when i look in other areas. is a huge fps drop, i tryied high setup, then medium, but is the same...
My specs are:
i7 960 3.20 ghz
6gb ram 1600mhz
gygabyte gtx 680 oc 4gb (nvidia drivers 314.07 whql)
mb msi eclipse sli.
it doesn't seem to be an hardware issue.
Please help...

Wierd, im running an i5-3570k OC'd 4.2Ghz and the EVGA 680 ftw 4gb with the latest nvidia driver (314.07) and i dont get FPS drops like that. Only thing i encounter is crashing when Overclocking the GPU like everyone else does, but no FPS drops like u describe. I play the game maxed out with 1x SMAA low.
