Texture settings problem

Post » Fri Mar 08, 2013 1:06 am

Hi everyone,

Got a little problem here with my Crysis 3: Whenever I try to change the texture quality settings and relaunch the game, it doesn't change the settings, it just stays at "high" and I cannot change it to very high, low or medium.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

(Running like a peach otherwise with all the other settings on max).

I did not get any windows popup and I have the new beta forceware installed (the one from 18.02.2013). There is nothing wrong other than the game simply not saving my changes to the texture settings after relaunch....but I'd sure like to use the very high setting for textures as well :D.

I remember having issues with this during the Open Beta.

Issue reported, thanks for the heads-up :)

:D glad to help....well maybe someone got knowledge on how to edit the default settings or the settings in the profile manually, that would solve it I guess.....maybe some console work....but I didn't find anything on the topic just yet. Everything with Crysis 3 seems to be quite similar to Crysis 2 in terms of technical fiddling, but any help would be appreciated. And of course. Report will be issued ;).

I just found out that this is related to all of the graphic settings! Seems I was lucky the game set everything except texture resolution to very high. I can fiddle with any of the settings and once relaunching the game its all reverted to very high, no matter what I do....baaaaaa what is this??!?!?!
