Would Aela be an Imperial or Stormcloak supporter?

Post » Fri Mar 08, 2013 10:29 am

I'm roleplaying a Nord Archer/Thief and am planning on him marrying Aela.

Would Aela be leaned towards an Imperial or Stormcloak Skyrim?

Aela says alot of things about honor and being a Nord but she doesn't want to die like an honorable Nord and go to Sovngarde.

So I'm not really sure.

What do you guys think?

I'm an Imperial myself so I don't really care too much for the milk drinkers known as the "Stormcloaks"

I don't think she cares for either of them, more of a "lone-ranger" I guess.

As far as I know the Companions don't really care about politics, so I don't think it'd really matter.

The Companions make a point to stay out of the local politics, but Aela shows inclinations to wanting to be a part of the fighting. Which side she would support is a different question entirely, one I cannot answer.

She seems pretty Stormcloaky to me.

I believe the others would support Vignar and the stormcloaks...but in the specific case of aela..I don't think she would mind if you join the legion.

As long as there is prey to be hunt, she would be happy, Just pray that you are not the prey.

When the Stormcloaks attack Whiterun, I can see the Companions protecting their home from the Stormcloaks' merciless assault.

Yeah, and even though she wants to join the fighting, it is probably just because she enjoys fighting. Like you said though, there isn't an actual answer.

I think that the Companion's would protect their home no matter who was attacking. Even if the Dragonborn attacked them they would fight back.

As for Aela, she likes to hunt.

Companions seems to be non-interested about the politics but still they used to be traditional order of nord warriors. About the current situation I can say only one thing: they will never raise their hands against the Stormcloaks. That's because Gray-Manes are well connected with the Companions and thy support the Stormcloaks.

And you shouldn't talk like that about Stormcloaks. They are honorable revolutionaries fighting for their land and faith against the evil imperialists who are not any better than their puppet masters, Thalmor.
