If I reversed pickpocketed enchanted weapons and bows on villagers and townsfolk, would they use it? ie. enchanted absorb health sword or paralyse axe?

Would this trick also work with enchanted armour and rings/pendants?

*I'm thinking about decking out Whiterun with a small enchanted armed militia
