Tired of Sneaking ...

Post » Fri Mar 08, 2013 4:15 pm

Sometimes I grow weary from sneaking all the time. I feel like I've crouched my way all the way across Skyrim. I'm not going to lie, it can be quite fun to get a sneak attack critical kill, but sometimes I think I would like to build a character so strong and damaging that she would not have to sneak anywhere. She could just walk arrogantly into a camp of bandits and mop the floor with them - no sneak needed!

Do you think it's possible to build such a character, one that is not constantly having to look over her shoulder or peek around trees?

This would be a fun build, a highly skilled brute of sorts. What say you? G

Yeah, this character you want is completely possible. You would still need to look at your health, but you can make a character who doesn't worry about getting ambushed.

A claymore can make for a good mop.

I haven't got the patience to play an entire game as a sneaky character, so mostly use stealth to scope out an area.

My current character, a Breton paladin, eschews even that. 'In Yer Face' is his motto :hehe:

I have built this character. All you need is a classic Nord type build. Heavy Armor and blocking skills and great one handed ability, get a war axe or a mace. And you will spend a lot of money on upgrading your armor and shield.

So your main perk tree focuses should be

Smiting: To upgrade your armor and sheild

Blocking: You can deflect mage and archer attacks

Heavy Armor: This is self explanatory.

Restoration: Healing while jugging is mandatory

Its really fun and you feel like a total bad ass. You need to carry around a lot of health potions though and know the spell "fast healing" is a good thing.
