Please fix the Vote Kick system

Post » Fri Mar 08, 2013 3:10 pm

Hello.
Lately I've been using the bow, and I get vote kicked every single time, and it annoys me. A lot.
If the vote kick fails, create some sort of immunity for two minutes and don't let the one who vote kicked me to vote kick again until the end of the round...
Please, this is getting on my nerves that I have to type: "I'm not hacking" every time I get blamed for aiming "too good" or bs (-_-)

Seriously, I can barely play now because of that

But that would mean that a real cheater would be immune for two minutes.

Yes it would, but something has to be done, too much vote kick is going around.

They just need to get rid of Hit Markers, then all guns including the bow would be harder at range. With hit markers it doesn't take aim it tells you when to shoot.

That is just stupid. How will making weapons harder to use prevent noobs or assholes from trying to kick good players ? Or are you trying to make the game harder so that good players don't do so well ?

The vote kick system isn't broken. It's up to the ad mins to set it up so that it takes more votes to kick and a cool down time so the same player can't call another vote.
There are several threads on this already.

Admins don't do anything in most of the servers I've been in, since I'm playing mostly afternoon and not @ night...
And people really should understand that if someone's better than them, he's not hacking and he does have a life.

I suggested a really good alternative to current votekick some time ago.
Instead of kicking someone, create a tool, which would focus global anticheat on a chosen person. If anticheat test finds anything suspicious -> instant ban from origin.

Cheaters get banned, great players - unbothered, raging noobs - raging more and losing overall lifespan due to constant stress.

But I'm not cheating, so just because I have a good aim I'm gonna get banned?
