When I try to install the game it will get to various percentages of progress (but not past 10%) before it will show the 'disc is unreadable error'. I have checked the disc and its surface is flawless, no scratches or smudges, as I said its brand new out the box less than an hour ago.
I've tried launching other games and they all work perfectly fine, its only with Crysis 3 that these issues occur.
The Xbox I have is the 'Pro' 60 gig model (matte white with chrome disc tray). It has never had any issues or needed any repairs. I'm using a HDMI cable to display at 1080i, I tried switching to 1080p (worth a shot) but the issue persists.
My first thought might have been that I just got a poor game disc if it wasn't for the fact that it appears to be in perfect condition. I've never encountered a problem before where the game's audio will play but not the video which is why I have no idea what to do.
Wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue.
