Alpha channels and transparency

Hello everyone :D
I've been working on a 'Golden Saint Armor' for vanilla bodies for quite some time; I'm experiencing a problem with the arms.
The arms and the cuirass both use alpha channels for transparency, and somehow the cuirass confilcts with the amrs.
Here are some pics:

As you can see when removing the cuirass, the armor on the arms shows up in the proper way.

Is there any way to fix this issue? Am I doing something wrong?

Note: The cuirass piece was made by Westly, I didn't make it ;D

Looks like the armor is set to the left elbow, probably to solve transparency issues with the chest, because if it's assigned to the chest, the whole chest disappears. Assigning clothing to a different body part isn't usually a problem with better bodies, but it causes this exact problem with segmented bodies (i.e. vanilla). You might have to redo the mesh as another body part, like the clavicle (and you have to change it in nifskope before you can assign it to a different body part in the CS). Though it may not work. The clavicle looks somewhat exposed as well.

The armor on the arm doesn't completly disappear, it just doesn't show up properly. Also, turning the NPC affects how the armor looks (as you can see in pics). I simply can't understand why. I mean, it makes no sense at all.
It had to work, I feel betrayed by the CS .___.

P.S. The female version of the cuirass uses alpha channels too but it gives me no problems at all. Could this be useful?

P.P.S. Ok, I've solved the problem! The mesh used for the cuirass is a robe, and being a robe it had sleves. The sleves conflicted with the armor on the arms. Now I removed the sleves and http://www.majhost.com/gallery/Frank819/Morrowind/gs4.jpg :D
Now my Golden Saint is ready for battle! (If he wasn't missing a forearm; I'll fix that later).
Thanks for all your help :)
