A few questions about Hearthfire DLC

Post » Fri Mar 08, 2013 10:21 pm

1) If you own more than one home and then decide to adopt, which home does the child(ren) go to?

2) If you marry a NPC, can your spouse still go on adventures with you?

3) Can you leave part of the house half built but finish the wings of the house? (for some strange reason I like the look of the home without a roof)

4) Do I have to have beds enough for Everyone in my house?

5) Do vampires attack hearthfire houses?

6) Is it a maximum of two kids per house, or two kids total?

7) Can you take your Steward on adventures with you or is he housebound?

1) If you own more than one home and then decide to adopt, which home does the child(ren) go to?
You will see the dialog option listing all the houses you own that are capable of having a family live in them. You pick one.

2) If you marry a NPC, can your spouse still go on adventures with you?
Yes

3) Can you leave part of the house half built but finish the wings of the house? (for some strange reason I like the look of the home without a roof)
s No, you have to complete the main house before you can add wings.

4) Do I have to have beds enough for Everyone in my house?

No, your family takes the beds, and your housecarl and/or steward won't sleep. (I don't like this for role playing, so my family home always has the bedroom wing)

5) Do vampires attack hearthfire house?
You may have a rare, random attack, unless you have DG installed, then count on it until you finish the DG manin quest. Even then you may have a random one. Attacks are outside except for minor pest clearing in the cellar.

6) Is it a maximum of two kids per house, or two kids total?
Two total.

7) Can you take your Steward on adventures with you or is he housebound?
You can take them.

Hope that helps. :)
