before you had to wabbajack followers to make them your current level again.I heard somewhere that in patch 1.7 this was fixed, but there still hasn't been any confirmation as far as i can see.

They have supposedly been fixed now.

It's been fixed. Remember though that most followers cap at level 40 (I think), so they'll continue to get weaker once you're past that point.
