Constant game crashing

Post » Sat Mar 09, 2013 8:24 pm

Hey there,
Just started playing Crysis 3 and its a pretty fun game, except that I freeze out every 2 or 3 multiplayer games and forced to CTRL-ALT-DEL out of the game.

I am not running an overclocked machine, and I am running all settings on Low and getting approx 50-60 FPS. I also edited my autoexec.cfg file if that is of any concern.

Here's my machine:
Intel i5-3450
8 GB RAM
XFX Radeon HD 6950 2 GB

Thanks for the help!

Mines been freezing up too. Not as often as yours, though it's still very annoying at times.

I've been experiencing the same issues and I may have been able to stabilize it by raising the voltage amounts in MSI Afterburner for the Core Voltage and the Memory Voltage. I have a Radeon HD 7970 and I've set the Core Voltage to 1.169 and Memory Voltage to 1.65 and I haven't had a crash since, so I hope that this info might help some of you experiencing the constant crashes. I actually read about this same issue in another thread, so evidently there are a lot of people dealing with this same issue. I do believe raising the voltage amounts far enough does help to stabilize it though. I'll post again if I incur another crash. Good luck! :)
