Why Cant We Enjoy Crysis 3 On Pc

Post » Sat Mar 09, 2013 4:10 pm

Okay Crytek its time to be honest crysis 2 was an excellent game combining great graphics and performance while i do admit that crysis 3 on pc has some great outstanding graphics feautures i have to say that since the multiplayer beta was great and was running great on my computer witch has a Zotac Gtx 680 Overclocked Graphics Card i Was Getting 65+ fps all the time using maxed out settings and using fxaa anti-alliasing , but when you released the game and changed the sponsor from Nvidia To AMD the game has **** up , i mean seriously now with crysis 3 campaign im getting 43 fps average but when i enter fights and sprint my fps dips to 25 and even 12 sometimes and there is so much stuttering in the game and glitches that its impossible for me to enjoy and vsync doesnt work even when it shows as on it still stutters so bad just when like its off.., and with the recent nvidia driver 314.14 i went to nvidia control panel / game compatibility / then typed crysis 3 and the rating was just " good" ..... The rating before amd sponsored the game was written "excellent" so why did the rating change ??!! Why did you let a **** company sponsor you and ruin the game for geforce gamer's while 90% amd gamers are enjoying ?? , there is something wrong with the game and you must fix it now ! I supported you and i will cause i know you are some great developers so please dont put your supporters down , we need some parches to fix all of these glitches and performance issues up .. And sponsor nvidia again since its the gpu company of quality not for **** budget users like amd with **** drivers -.-''

Dude im running 680 s and ive not noticed any difference between fps on full game from beta , i did have an issue with driver , so you could try the use driver sweeper to cleanly remove your nvid driver then reinstall while in safe mode, this can really make a difference some times when errors occur after driver updates, and as for windows 8 lol dump it,

Lol.

You think you are having issues because AMD is sponsoring the game, and have somehow purposely screwed the game for Nvidia users? I don't think many people here read over what they post before actually posting it. You are the perfect example.

"And sponsor nvidia again since its the gpu company of quality not for **** budget users like amd with **** drivers -.-"

AMD still has the fastest (and most expensive) GPU on the consumer market, the Asus Ares 2. their catalyst drivers are also very good. Where do you come off with ignorant statements like these?

Stop your blatant fanboyism and conspiracy theories. Maybe you should accept the fact that either the problem is on your end, or Nvidia's driver is just not all that good this time round. Also accept the fact that you were playing a BETA (I wish I could underline this as most don't seem to understand what this means) and you cannot expect performance to be exactly the same in the final product. You also only had access to 2 maps, so how you can accurately compare performance to the final product is beyond me.

QQ further.

Its Not fanboysim , And Amd May Have Currently The Worlds Most Expensive Gpu But You Just Wait For Asus Mars III , And Btw Amd's Cards Are Slightly Faster In Becnchmarks Because it Doesnt Have To Process Physx :) , And The Picture Quality Of Nvidia's Gpu's Compared To Amd 's is Just Superior , Btw Nvidia Came Up With Adaptive Vsync And Txaa And Gpu Boost And Fxaa And What Did Amd Come Up With ? ... Nothing .. yea Thats What i Thought , And Yeah i Really Hope Nvidia's Drivers Fix These Problems Soon , Very Soon , Because Crysis Is The Only Game Series That Made Me Switch To Pc Gaming .. i Hope Its Worth It After All..

Nope. It's dual gpu card like the gtx690. Nvidia has the fastest single gpu which is the Titan. The Ares is also mostly engineered by Asus.

You seem to be correct about the issue being nvidia driver related though, as i've only seen issues with nvidia cards so far.
