They're brain tells them that hey this isn't call of duty so I like it but I'm not gonna ever make this my "go to shooter" bc it doesn't involve quick scoping and running around with no skill. Call of duty is just too public. Too many ppl talk about it so it makes the idiotic ppl think "hey this must be a great game" ppl just don't get how badass crysis. I wish call of duty would just die already lol

People just are either too lazy or too dumb to put in something with a learning curve. COD is really simple, Run, Aim Shoot, Jump, Lay down, crouch, switch weapon, and Grenades on each bumper. Honestly Crysis is a shooter that takes far more skill than Call Of Duty, most of that game is spawn camping, or even having a killstreak go out and get kills for you. Part of the problem is so many people buy it it's a fregan party. I bought every COD since COD4, just to play something with friends. And I love FPS games.

As for Call of Duty dying, soon my friend soon. Sales are down for Black Ops 2, sales are down from Modern Warfare 3. It's on a steady decline, there will be nothing after November. Activision announced there would be another Call of Duty releasing in November, but honestly what is it going to be? Modern Warfare 4? I think thats about ran it's course, what about back to the WW2 era? I think people are over that. Black Ops 2 was a near future shooter.

There is no where for Call of Duty to go but just go away for a few years and then they can reboot with "Call of Duty 5". I honestly have never had any interest in Military Shooters, so dull in my opinion. Crysis allows me to do so much more and to rack up kills online multiplayer in so many various ways, in Call of Duty it's only a few ways. COD is primary weapon, grenade, secondary, melee. Crysis has, primary, grenade, secondary, melee, stealth melee, airstomp, alien weapons, mountable weapons, shields, objects like poles. It always amazes me at the end of the match because I have such a variety of kills it's feels really fulfilling.

2 words are heard a lot less, and almost not at all on Crysis that is heard every damn day on Call of Duty, and they are "Spawn Camp". Crysis is too fast to allow spawn camping, although I would be a liar if I hadn't said a lot of my deaths have came within 2 seconds of spawning so I think the spawn systems are a little funky at the moment but hopefully it gets better.

Crysis has built a reputation, albiet not always the best, but people at least got to play the game and they know what it is. This will hold water in console gaming.

The next Crysis, if there is one will be free to play, and that will attract a lot more people by nature.
While Call of Duty will still trying to get people to buy "Season Passes".
