something not only for guards, but also for the other npcs, most of them are warriors.then some battlemages, drillmaster, mater at arms and knights.

I was thining

1)you could select npcs as target for investigations, and ask the legion members to investigate them, and possibly, bring the items found on the npc to the player.
but this will have little use for the player. How many npcs can actually be guilty of something? just a small part. It would be unreal if the legion member would return to the pc anytime saying "again you are right %PcRank. Another criminal found."

2) send legion members to arrest npcs. The npcs will be disabled for a while and their goods may be confiscated
but, only npc guards may arrest in mw. I could use this task for guards, but not for other classes.

3) send legion members to fight generic bandits and smugglers, and bring back to the pc what found (generic random bandit items).

So, I am looking for some other ideas. What could the imperial legion members do for you?
something that could be assigned multiple times and not only to guards, and would be of some interest for the player.
