I was hoping someone else was having this issue. I cannot control the frame cap on crysis 3. I've tried the system.cfg in crysis 3 folder, also the autoexec.cfg in the c3 folder. I've searched forever and only find the command sys_MaxFps = 60. I've tried it with and without spaces by the equal sign. I've also tried all lower case letters. I've also used the tilde button and typed in the command and only works with the space around the equal sign. The command pops on screen in yellow, but has no effect. I've tried nvidia control panel, nv inspector, and crysis 3 vsync option. I know it sounds strange, but I want to cap my fps to 60hz. I'm running 560 ti sli and in certain areas I get suttering or lag. It seems its because of a huge fps dip and I want to minimize lag. Underground and cavern scenes I run at 120fps until I look into the sky or game action, then drops to 45-60. All settings on high. I've also tried very high and similar results. Game looks and plays great, just hate the intermittent lag. Thanks to all.
