So I was riding my horse to Solitude (I like slow travel) and I took the road that passes through Falkreath. Just outside the city, I found some of my Thalmor friends with a prisoner. I had always wondered where such convoys go, so I decided to follow them. I followed them for about 40 minutes (real time) and I helped defend them from various dangers, such as saber cats and such. After going through Helgen and Rorikstead (I'm pretty sure Northwatch was our destination) we were ambushed at Robber's Gorge. The main Justiciar fell in battle, and I'd it wasn't for me, the other two would have also died. After the battle, the remaining Justiciars were standing in the road, looking at the dead body of their boss in unbelief. My question is this: why did the game have the Thalmor walking to Northwatch on that route? I was also going to Haafingaar, but on he safer road that passes through Markarth and Dragons' Bridge, what was wrong with that road? Honestly, if I hadn't have cleared Helgen weeks earlier (Barbas led me through there) the Thalmor would have died much sooner than they did. My question is this: why Bethesda, do you hate the Thalmor so much that you would have them go through two major bandit camps, when there was another perfectly good (and shorter) road?
(Something funny and off topic, one of the Justiciars walked into the prisoner and the prisoner fell dead, lol, the Justiciar turns around towards the body and says "what happened?)
