Replaced custom ID doors default mesh with an imperial windo

I had hoped I could make a door with the model of a static mesh, the imperial exterior window, to act as a secret entry. The doors appearance being changed went perfectly, but for some reason it's as if the game cannot tell when I am targeting it. Is this something that can easily be resolved with Nifskope or other such things? Is there some setting to the door I must change. Note that I was using a load door, changed the ID to a custom ID, then changed the model.


Do I have to use a teleport script to work around this, or is there another way? (If I have to use the script, I am pretty positive I can easily make that work, but I hope it doesn't come down to needing that).
