I load the file from the load, not continue option. it goes thru the tips and such screen. Once it loads, it has wind ambient noise and a black screen, PS3 is also frozen so no access XMB. Typical and common scenario right?
So I've done a lot of research on this and I've tried everything. Entering safe mode on ps3 to restore file system and database, that was a no go. I backed up everything on my ps3, formatted it (quick format), ONLY put skyrim load file back on PS3, didn't work.

I know for a fact it is not a corrupt data file. because if I press the PS button while I'm on the loading/tips page and leave it, my system will not freeze, and in the background i can see the compass on top of the page and the enchantment charge on the lower right corner pop up. I also did this same technique while loading thru a new game. i seen part of the landscape form, but as usual, once you press the PS button to return to the game, it all freezes again. One more time with this technique, pressed the PS button to return to the game, then I started instantly mashing on the start button, and now my game is frozen on the quests portion of the pause screen.

I can try a full format. But other than taking this file to a friend's PS3 and trying on there, I don't know what to do, Obviously there is something wrong, if anyone is experiencing this, please help me out here.

P.S. My save file also updates the time stamp every time i attempt this stuff.

have you tried making a fresh clean install of the base game data, patch and dlcs?
