Elder Scrolls And Black Books, An Amalgam

Post » Mon Mar 11, 2013 11:05 pm

Theoretically, if the power of a Black Book were harnessed, and intermingled with that of an Elder Scroll, what would be the aftermath? I mean, Hermaeus Mora is the Daedric Prince of Fate, and Elder Scrolls predict hypothetical fates, while the whole Black Book thing is meant to be dark and demonic, while the Elder Scrolls are almost the complete opposite. So, that said, what could a combination of Elder Scroll and a Black Book achieve?

Wait, the Elder Scrolls are the opposite of dark and demonic? This is a serious question, I really didn't know this.

I thought that as the tools of time, they didn't have a moral alignment.

They're not. The Black Books aren't really "dark and demonic," either - most of them are rather mundane. They're just secret knowledge that takes you to Herma Mora's realm.

I imagine someone who has studied the books would be better at reading the scrolls, but I can't really think of how to intermingle the two or anything like that.

I see. I haven't played Dragonborn, so thank you.
