Does the whole war thing actually interest your dragonborn?

Post » Mon Mar 11, 2013 10:18 pm

Espeically after both dawnguard and dragonborn dlc, your character (without counting other achievement such as guild master) are already stepping into God like level, meaning of materialism on nirm will gradually lose meaning to your characters.

So why would any war (wether is civil or thalmor) interest your character? im sure people like Divayth Fyr would just be a "meh" attiude on these things, after all they are mortal's affairs.

and to be honest the thalmor will not succeed in anyway, if they dare to do anything the divines will make sure they are wiped from the surface of nirm.

My character would definitely be interested in stomping out the Stormcloaks if the CW quest line was handled better. But, since the game doesn't really wrap the whole thing up well it's better to leave it as the ongoing but unresolved backdrop of the setting.

Any of em that care about ending the threat of the thalmor always end the war. For either side.

Letting it continue on is the worst possible outcome.

if you think about it, if the dragonborn was to mantle a god, by this time he will start to dettach from the nirm and see it from a time perspective, in that everything is a cycle rise and fall, so nothing really matters in nirm. I dont know which npc said that leader change never matters, which your dragonborn will think about as well,

Yeah I agree. Keeping it as apart of the setting makes the game more lively. I also like to assassinate a couple cloaks and imperials every now and then. Fun stuff.

thalmor's succeed means really nothing, they arent gods themselve and there are much Much bigger threat out there, thalmor after all is just a pitifual faction with a sweet dream that willl never come to true.

I have to admit my later characters don't seem to give it much thought. Unlike the other factions you don't really get anything for doing it, some armor that you never wear, but that's about it. The other factions have a lot more to offer.

No. He leans toward the Imperial faction though as a Nord that was raised outside of Skyrim.

Breaking the towers is completely possible. We've personally done it in ES games twice.(And witnessed someone else do it in another)

Never completed it. Never started it either. Only did the peace conference once. Collecting random crap and storing it in the house, or wandering at random and randomly butchering stuff, or even just climbing to the top of mountains and staring at the stars, all seem so much more important. [Or if you were in my character's head, contemplating multi-dimensional possibility streams, or worrying about petty mortal concerns? Hmmm, let me see now.]
