When I kill Alpha Ceph my PS3 stop working and I have a black screen on TV! What should I do to solve this problem?

This has happened to me at least once. Then when I tried to replay from my last saved checkpoint, the PS3 would invariably get a hard freeze after a couple of minutes.

I finally beat the game when I restarted the entire last mission (through Mission Select), in order to avoid the possibly "corrupted" last saved checkpoint in the mission.

I have read at least two other posts on this matter in different trending topics today, so I think it's safe to assume that it's a game issue.
