Do the Thalmor have the potential to be a greater empire than the Cyrodiilic empire. I don't know the sort of manpower the combined armies of the Dominion and possibly Elsweyr (due to their good relations) would have. Do you think that they will eventually walk over the Empire and conquer Tamriel or crumble in the next conflict?

I think the Thalmor would prefer to unmake the world rather than rule it.

They don't have enough allies to conquer the whole continent.

The beginning of the end of the Thalmor occurred when the Last Dragonborn was revealed to the world.

Having at haughty elven nations is what Dragonborn do. Alessia. Wulfharth. Tiber Septim.
