I need some help.. I am a Warrior and I wish to play on Master level, I've never played on Master or anything high... So I wan't to do it at a pro level. I can't choose a Heavy Armour to wear... I am currently using Daedric or Dwarven.. But!!! Looks is a big thing for me in RPG's... And I think Daedric is too Far-fetched' for me.. And Dwarven is just.. In the middle of ugly / nice.. What do I do.. And as I wan't to play on Master difficulty.. Obviously Armor Rating does matter.. HELP ME :( X

Oh by the way.. I use One-Handed / Shield... So hit me with One-Handed weapons / shields.. I've no idea again on what would be good.

Without the dlc Ebony and Ancient Nord armor look awesome. With the dlc Carved Nordic Heavy Chitin Stalhrim and the Dawnguard heavy armors look pretty sweet tho the later is more of a crusader look.

use tactics.
use potions, lots of potions.
make your weapons powerful 200-400 damage.
try and reach the armor cap.
have a powerful follower that is essential. serana or frea.

As long as you can smith any armour up to 567 displayed rating (with 4 pieces), or 592 displayed (with no helmet), you hit the cap, which is 80% damage reduction. That's effectively 40% of all damage taken by you on master. It won't get better without blocking. If you have the smithing skill up, use fortify smithing gear and buy fortify smithing potions, just about any heavy armour can hit that cap, leaving you free to wear what you think looks cool.

Pretty much all of what you just said besides the follower, I'm still not impressed with the followers in the game. IMO they only serve as " meat shields " other then that they get in the way.

Indeed I have a noble who always wears fine clothes so I made some leather boots with a 567 armor rating so I don't have to wear a ridiculous helm or any other armor lol

i like asking serana to run into the middle of the enemy so they start attacking her.
i then poison my bow and do a sneak attack. then i run in and kill them all.

Use a follower that can soak up damage for you, like Stenvar or Vorstag.

i recruited stenvar at level 4, he is useless at level 30 on master.

This goes with his Tactics advice.. use Traps in places to your advantage. they are a much larger help then some realize. Gonna use Bleak falls as an example.

first draugr room, ther e is a swinging spike wall trap, kite the draugr to it and let them set it off, will take out a huge chunk of their like, if it doesnt outright kill them.

short distance later is a small hallway with swinging blade traps, followed by an area with the clay pot/oil traps and more draugr. get them to awaken and follow you, hit a pot and set of that trap, then kite back up thru the swinging blades to finish them off.

And remember, a real true warrior will use any tool or knowledge to his or her advantage, be it a sword, a spell or a trap.
