Is This The Worst Dragonborn In History?

How will history remember the Dragonborn of the 4E? As a great Nord hero? Or a puppet and lacky?

Al-Esh: into bulls. Made her new Empire worship half-Mer gods. Spoke in dreams to a fanatical ape-man.

Stormcrown: lied, cheated, bullied and cold-blooded-murdered his way to godhood (or was that a third of a godhood).

Reman Cyrodiil: into hillocks. Forged an Empire of plots, bloodshed and snakes for emperors.

Camoran: too stupid to even realise he was Dragonborn. Got killed by some flea-bitten adventurer.

My Dovahkiin: "oh, she's that lovely elf lady who used to bake cakes, killed all those Deathlords, taught her adoptees to be healers, saved the world, shouted the rain away, destroyed the Dark Brotherhood and even picked some spuds for us a few times."

Depends who writes the history, as now there are many versions of it depending who you believe and who wrote it., history is rarely absolute truth, in our world even recent history is manipulated and distorted for political gain., Personally i think this dragonborn may be seen as weak willed and selfish.

Really? He was DB, do you have sources to prove this

As for OP, I think he will be considered the most physically powerful Dragonborn, and second only in historical influence to Talos.

Or at least my idea of DB would be, I understand everyone plays him differently.

Camoran was a different kind of Dragonborn, same with the whole Septim bloodline. They don't have the soul of a dragon, only the blood of a dragon.

Mine: Killed loads of Thalmor, murdered a coward Emperor, leader of the Dark Brotherhood, Harbinger of the Companions, Vampirehunter, Archmage of the College of Winterhold, stopped the unmaking of the world by killing Alduin, stopped the enslavement of the whole island of Solstheim, taught adopted children to be warriors, and drank Skooma once in a while. And by the way, you only destroyed the Dark Brotherhood of Skyrim

No.. he defeated Alduin at the highest peak of Tamriel, then "slew" him in Sovngarde. Somewhere along the line he also picked up some massive power from Hermaeus Mora as he killed and absorbed the soul of the first Dragonborn (we have no other account of this happening in history even though you'd think Hjalti would have absorbed Wulfharth's). He also was probably the one who killed Harkon. Mine is an immortal and ageless vampire lord.

History will be obscure regarding the Last Dragonborn. For example, if you have played Bloodmoon and remember the Mead Hall, Thirsk, you might find the book http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Thirsk,_a_Revised_History an interesting read. Especially when it gets to the part about the Nerevarine's involvement.

My dragonborn: Vampire lord, harbinger of the companions, arch-mage, guildmaster and nightingale, slayer of the world eater, killer of Miraak, champion of the stormcloaks, collector of daedric artifacts. If aything my dragonborn will be remembered as a warrior who constantly worked to strengthen himself over ruling anything

I like this answer and it also makes you think, is Talos as great as he is depicted? He may have been a coward and a murderer but may of had the power to rewrite history. Obviously he was a great man but you have to ask yourself how much is true. Personally I think the last Dragonborn will be remembered as a hero, a strong powerful leader of men. But in reality I think he is a puppet and easily manipulated.

I'm actually hoping - and I realize many oppose this notion - that our current Dragonborn, after reviving a frail, crumbling empire, finds himself/herself on top of the Throne, whether it be in Skyrim, as the Savior and New High King/High Queen of, or in Cyrodiil as the new Emperor/Empress.

And no, I have no idea how they would incorporate the player character in a position of power into the series, but I'm sure they could find a way to make it work.

That's up to you.

Mine will be remembered as a mysterious helmed figure who saved countless lives from dragon attacks, always seeming to appear when needed and then vanishing without a trace, his identity unknown, his fate unrecorded.
A solitary icon of justice, always there to stay the hand of the cruel, to vindicate the innocent and bust some dragon heads.

Though a period of great political turmoil (aren't they all?) history will record that this Dragonborn stood apart from the petty squabbles of men over dirt and fought for those who could not fight for themselves.

Some observant historians may notice that a certain thane of Whiterun was never around when the Dragonborn appeared... but y'know how it is.
